A Journey of Faith, Growth, and Wholeness
My name is Kimberlie, and I write this blog to share both my struggles and victories through this journey called life. My spiritual walk has been marked by many blessings, along with challenges and difficulties along the way. Through sharing what I have learned and experienced, my hope is to encourage and be a blessing to others as they walk their own paths of faith.
For many years, my faith was shaped within a highly structured and insular religious system. While it emphasized devotion and sincerity, it also relied heavily on control, unspoken rules, and interpretations of Scripture that left little room for questioning, personal conviction, or engaging the full counsel of God’s Word. Over time, I began to sense that something was missing—not only freedom, but wholeness.
Oh, to walk with joy each day, growing in thankfulness for the blessings of life, and carrying an inward hunger for more of Yahweh’s Word. I have come to love the depth of Scripture and how its teaching applies to every part of our lives. Once our hearts are open to see that all Scripture is given for our teaching and growth even today, it is amazing what the Spirit of the Lord desires to reveal to us.
Leaving a tightly controlled religious environment is not a single moment; it is a process. It involves grief, unlearning, healing, and relearning how to trust God outside of fear-based systems. This blog is part of that process.
Here, I share my journey of stepping away from organized, cult-like religion and moving toward a faith rooted in the entirety of Scripture—from Genesis to Revelation. I am learning what it means to follow the Bible holistically, including the Torah, not as a means of earning salvation, but as a way of living a life set apart and aligned with God’s design.
As I continue this walk, I have come to see how deeply faith affects every area of life—not only what we believe, but how we live, eat, rest, raise families, engage culture, care for our bodies, and walk out obedience with humility and discernment.
This space is not about having all the answers. It is about pursuing truth with integrity, honoring Scripture over tradition, and learning to follow God without coercion or fear.
From time to time, I may also write about cultural or political topics where faith, conscience, and Scripture intersect—not to provoke, but to think critically and biblically about the world we live in.
If you are:
- recovering from spiritual abuse or religious control
- curious about Torah-observant faith
- seeking a more integrated, whole-life walk with God
- learning how to trust Scripture again
- or wanting to understand how God’s Word applies to every area of life
then this space is for you.
My hope is that this blog encourages thoughtful reflection, honest conversation, and a deeper confidence in walking with God—free, grounded, and whole.
